Do you remember when you were a child and you hated taking naps and being told to sleep? And do you notice how now that you’re all grown up and tossed into this busy world, living with studies or work, you’d do anything for more Z’s or even just a nap? It’s really quite ironic. Ideally, grown ups don’t have to take naps if we get enough hours of sleep each night. But with our busy lifestyles, most people don’t get the ideal quantity and quality of sleep. This makes us more prone to being tired during the day, which actually makes us crave for a nap. And it’s not just that we want to take a nap, it’s a fact that we need it — napping is not just a luxury, it’s something that we need in order to function properly.
