At this day and age, a lot of people prefer staying in a studio unit or in a petite apartment. Having said this, we can all agree that one thing is assured: smaller space. A home that is without a backyard or garage might leave you thinking that even your furniture must be down-sized. You wouldn’t want to regret buying tons of stuff only to find out that these would only fit on the driveway outside your apartment.
Now that this truth has been considered, what would be the one thing that might take up a lot of space in your home? Probably your bed. This thought is especially valid if you own a double, queen, or king-sized bed (for small families). As much as you love your bed, you’d still want your home to have enough area that’s dedicated for the comfort of your guests.

How to Choose Crib Mattresses for your Baby | Uratex Blog
Babies are one of the best gifts that come from the hand of God. They are angels from heaven. They should be taken great care of, for they are delicate and fragile. Unlike adults, babies are incapable of voicing out their thoughts and preferences. It is left to the parents to decide what is best for them. Every single detail that pertains to the baby’s life (e.g. food, diaper brand, lullaby song, etc) are dependent on the wisdom of the parents. That a baby needs a secure crib to sleep on is an obvious fact. But how can parents determine the most ideal crib mattress for the baby?
Numerous brands and styles in all sorts of shapes and sizes are all around the malls and internet. But do we really know which ones offer the most benefits? Here I have listed some things to consider when choosing a mattress for your baby:

How to Get your Children Sleep on their Own | Uratex Blog
Living with children who don’t sleep on their own is an uphill battle. Especially when the kids are bothersome and noisy while awake, parents are often left reeling in despair. Some might even think of building a tunnel under the house to have their own peace and tranquillity.
To try solving the dilemma, here are some ways on how you can help your children become “Independent Sleepers”:
1. Establish a timetable.
Train your children by announcing “Bedtime” the same time every night. You can start by getting them ready for bed before (e.g. half an hour) their actual bedtime. By informing them in advance, they can put a halt to whatever activity they are doing in preparation for their Bedtime. Act out nonverbal suggestions by picking up toys to help them get the idea that play time is over. By giving extra time to get in bed, you will both experience less stress and imply a routine that should apply and be followed as a rule in the house.

Good or Bad: Sleeping with Wet Hair | Uratex Blog
The timeless topic of “Sleeping with Wet Hair” has produced an abundance of articles over the Internet. People all over are seemed to be concerned whether this act could cause colds or poor eyesight. But most sources are suggesting that such theories are mythical, for little to zero studies has found a direct correlation between sleeping with wet hair and the health impairments that I just mentioned. So does this mean that it causes no harm to us?
To sleep with wet hair is to cause a buildup of fungus on your pillow. Studies show that as people spend one third of their life sleeping, they also expose themselves to varied sources of fungi. This ecosystem exacerbates asthma, sinusitis, and other respiratory related diseases. Along with the discipline of drying our hair before you sleep, you should change your pillows a few times during your lifetime to avoid such consequences.

Ah yes. It’s Christmas! It’s the season where the majority of you (and including me, personally) enjoy the ease of our beds and comforters because of the solace it gives you from the pleasantly cold weather. The season’s spirit is around in the sensory aspect, obviously, but one thing might be missing in your bed set this Christmas season.

How Sleeping Habits are Affected during Christmas Season | Uratex Blog
Studies and surveys have revealed that 6-8 hours of sleep is required to fully rejuvenate the average person. Lack of such would result to negative effects such as headaches, muscle pain, irritation, etc. If not treated properly and immediately, an imbalance sleeping schedule may lead to some serious health problems, like blurred vision, lethargy, and sometimes even alcoholism. Many people suffer from sleep deprivation because of numerous reasons, but some of the most common causes include: hectic schedules, overactive lifestyles, and unhealthy diets.
People around the world have a variety of accustomed traditions during the Christmas season, ranging from fancy house decorations, unselfish gift-givings, delightful Noche Buenas, and more. It is a season where we spend extra time and money to exuberantly celebrate this meaningful and joyful season. But because such things will require significantly more energy, effort, and time, we try to expand our already tight schedule, making it even more stressful. Chances are, our time for useful sleep will be significantly reduced, which may ultimately result to some unwanted exhaustion during our waking moments.
