It is foreseen that, by the year 2015, 75% of all US citizens will be categorized as overweight. That is the reason why millions of dollars are being spent every year on crash diet plans by folks with a desperate attempt to lose weight. There’s much argument around the grounds on why folks are getting weightier, and the chief reasons provided for this are that 1) folks are eating too much junk foods and 2) are lacking in will power.
But, recent scientific studies reveal that the facts above may not be the full explanation. Our desire to over-eat and our compulsion to eat the wrong kinds of food are probably caused by a hormone imbalance. The good news is that the proper sleep amount can stable these hormones, which are accountable for our constant cravings and hunger. Ghrelin is the first hormone. This hormone is formed by the abdomen and is in charge for making a person feel hungry.

Effects of Listening to Rock Music while Sleeping | Uratex Blog
We all have our little routines prior to our much needed sleep. Personally, I do my exercises at night, for about an hour, before I wash up. After getting into my PJ’s, I lie down in my soft and comfy bed. I turn the television on, which is my expressway to dreamland. The sound coming from the TV lets me sleep easier. Too much silence gives out a very eerie vibe for me. Still, I keep a low volume so that it doesn’t disrupt my sleep.
Some people I know, pregnant ladies actually, usually listen to classical music when they sleep. They say that this particular kind of music improves the baby’s development inside the womb; but how about the baby momma? Does she benefit from listening to it too? I figured that it can relax her as well. This helps her sleep better like the baby.

4 Simple Stretching Techniques to Help You Sleep | Uratex Blog
Have you ever tried un-stressing yourself, adjusting your sleep cycle, avoided eating some foods and STILL ended up with trouble sleeping? Well here are some more concrete ways to help you sleep. No, it doesn’t involve your cooperation throughout the daytime, but it DOES involve the last few minutes of your waking moments right before you sleep. I’m talking about stretching techniques. Now, plenty has been written about such kinds of techniques, and there are definitely more than just 4. But I’ll introduce to you the 4 simplest ones that anyone – including you, can do while on the bed itself without requiring too much flexibility.
While lying down on your bed facing up, move to the closest wall you can put your legs on. This is pretty easy since all, if not most, beds are found right next to a wall. So raise your legs, parallel to each other, and rest them on the wall. Then move closer to the wall so that you are perpendicular to your legs, forming a right 90-degree angle between your torso and your legs. Hold this position for a couple of minutes and move on to another position.

5 Reasons Why You Need to Sleep Before 2 AM | Uratex Blog
It’s easy to notice how much life has changed in time. Some years back, people would be asleep by 9 PM. Then again, there was not much technology back then. In this technologically-savvy era, life is, in a word, faster. People are more attached to their gadgets; they party more and have made it a habit to check their Facebook notifications every minute or so. What has become of the good ‘ol days, when sleeping before 2 AM was not a trend? This generation must be informed that nodding off early at night is not without advantages, and if we sum them all up, you may just want to think twice on making a lifestyle change. After all, it is for your benefit.
- It is good for our metabolism – Studies show that most of our detoxification happens before 1 AM. Sleeping early will not mess up the rhythm that our bodies are used to, and it will enable our metabolism to be in stride, emitting all the bad stuff that we do not need in our bodies.

Reasons Why People Tend to Have Wet Dreams | Uratex Blog
The adolescent stage, or puberty, is a crucial phase for every human being. There are inevitable changes: physically, emotionally and mentally. These changes, no matter how hard we try to disregard them, will cause embarrassment most of the time. Believe me, I know.
With all the changes I have gone through, I don’t think I’d want to back track to the whole process. And so, I have become more interested to check out what young boys are going through as they are slowly transforming into men. I always thought they have it easy, and that reflects as unfair to me (I simply feel bitter in the thought that I have to suffer from menstrual cramps every moth).
And so I read about Wet Dreams.
This may occur to both boys and girls, but wet dreams are usually subject to the males. In medical language, a wet dream is also known as Nocturnal Emission; Nocturnal means night, and Emission means discharge. When this is happening, semen is being emitted from the penis while during a dream of sexual nature. It may also be caused by physical stimulation. Such stimulation can be caused by running through a blanket, a pillow, or simply having a full bladder. Although, some experts say there are no studies yet that has proved the theory that dreams with sexual images are connected to the discharge of semen while asleep. Nevertheless, a wet dream is usually reported when there are dreams connected to sexuality.

Benefits of Listening to Classical Music | Uratex Blog
Mozart. Vivaldi. Bach. You hear these names and you sit and wonder why so many people listen to them at all and not to your favorite rap or rock music. The truth is that these composers, whether they knew it or not, has created some of the greatest pieces of music humankind has ever heard. Study their story and their history, and you’ll discover that the music of these legendary composers has done so much more than punctuate climatic moments in the movies.
It has been determined that music in general improves the moods and mental activity of people, especially if they listen to it whilst engaging in their own personal activities. The superiority of classical music over more modern forms of music, such as rap or rock, lies in the complexity of its composition. This complexity sends people’s brains moving in different directions. The synapses are, as a result, stimulated, which increases the secretion of brain chemicals.
